Welcome to Sober in the Sun 2012!
Sober in the Sun is Palm Springs California's annual gathering of LGBT recovery-minded people and their friends. We are a 4-day AA conference with Al-Anon participation celebrating our 25th year!
Our theme this year is "25 Years-One Day at a Time". One Day at a Time is familiar to all of us yet the excitement of doing this for 25 years as a community is beyond words.
We've got lots of exciting events planned both before and during the conference! Be sure to check this website regularly for information and to sign up for volunteer positions. Email a committee chair if something catches your attention. Service is a good way to feel good about you and will make you feel a part of this wonderful experience. We want your help.
This year our web site is up early for your convenience. Keeping informed of fundraisers, locations, donations, purchasing tickets and registrations. We thank you for the ongoing support of Sober in the Sun and making YOUR 25th year the best.

Purpose
Our purpose is to provide a sober environment of workshops and education for gay men, lesbians, bisexual, transgender and anyone recovering from alcoholism, drug addiction and problems related to recovery from these diseases.

Planning Meetings
Sober in the Sun needs and welcomes your participation to make SITS 2013 a success.
Our Planning Meetings are held at 12 noon the second Sunday of each month, at the Riviera Palm Springs (1600 N Indian Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92262) in the Hotel Conference Center.

Sober in the Sun, Inc is recognized as a public charity and is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions may be tax deductible with deductions limited to the excess of the contribution over the fair market value of any items received in exchange for the donation.
